Center of Gravity Measurement of a Hard Drive Actuator Arm The SE199 is a very high accuracy instrument that can measure the center of gravity of hard drive actuators to better than 20 microns. The limiting factor for accuracy is the repeatability of the fixture. The special pins that we design and manufacture for hard drive actuators allow the user to make full use of the instrument accuracy.
