SCRIPTING SOFTWARE

Scripting software is now available for the KGR, KSR and POI machines that run on a Windows environment (for KGR and KSR machines under DOS or HP, a Windows upgrade is available).

Scripting software enables your engineer to define automated sequences for your operators to follow in order to measure various test objects. Features include:
  • Measurement flow control. Arrange the sequence of tare measurements, part measurements, and calculations to optimize the data collection for each test object.
  • Text and graphic-based user instructions. You can define clearer operator instructions using your jpeg photos and instructional text.
  • Measurement range validation for error-proofing. Set a known range of possible measurements to verify the proper set-up.
  • 3-D database software. A database is provided to combine all measurements into a single mass properties record.
  • Building of a 3-D measurement record for the part. This includes automatic transfer of calculated results into the 3-D database record as well as averaging from more than one measurement.
