Turbine Blade Measurement

We understand that it may not make financial sense to purchase a moment weight scale to measure only a few sets of blades.

For this reason we offer moment weighing services at our facilities in Connecticut. These services include:
   • Turbine blade moment weight measurement (blade balance)
   • Turbine blade distribution optimization (order sets of blades to minimize the resulting unbalance of the full-up rotor assembly)

Just send us your blades and we will measure them for you. We also offer measurement services at the customer's facility upon request. We can either make the measurements for you at your site, or you can lease a moment weight scale from us.

We identify and provide the best measuring system to suit your needs. As the manufacturer of the most accurate moment weight scales on the market today, we offer the same high level of excellence in our measurement services. All measurement results are certified traceable to the US NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

We offer test part fixturing and/or fixture design consultation as required. Our unique gravity wedge design for blade adapters ensures the most repeatable measurements. This is an indispensable asset to those customers who are looking for the highest measurement accuracy.

Measurement service is done on a time-and-material basis. We can provide an estimate based on the time required to develop any required adapter, make measurements and optimize the blades distribution, and to provide adequate documentation.
